  4. I agree that testing takes away from the reading experience. People may associate tests with reading and feel anxious or tired whenever they pick up a book.

  5. Yes, I too think that enjoyment is one of the most valuable aspects of reading. Comprehension as you mention is of course of utmost importance too, but the passion lies in the enjoyment of it.

  6. I'm glad you focused on the enjoyment and engagement of reading. Both of those aspects are significant in the reading and learning processes. I think that helping students find the enjoyment in reading is the key to making them better readers.
