I have had major difficulties getting the embedding to work today. I can't figure it out, so here is a link to my yodio response for today.

  1. Emily, I think your onto a great concept about the power of using writing to process information and how you tied it in to the creative process.

  2. I agree with you and Eric about using writing to process information. It's a way of sharing information, too, but I think considering writing as a way to actually process that information is valuable. I also appreciate your point that writing can help us process our feelings--how many times have you told someone (or been told yourself) to just get it all out when that person is going through a tough time? I know I've done--written things down to get them out of my head so I could move on and be productive. Sometimes when we write, we discover there are things under the surface we had no idea existed.

  3. I think it is important to verbalize that there is a power connected with writing. There is a force that does because I source of emotional outpouring if it can be properly tapped. I really like how you explained your thinking on this subject. I appreciate the emphasis that you place on power and creativity. I think the two go hand in hand.

  4. I can totally hear your passion for writing in your Yodio response. This is fun to hear! I especially like what you said about writing helps ideas integrate into our bodies. Writing is a way to make thought visible. When we use writing to generate thought rather than to report conclusions/answers, then we really are using writing to think.
